What we do
We have nearly 40 years of experience of electrical contracting for the domestic and commercial markets.
NICEIC Approved Contracting
Future Electrical has a highly professional team of JIB registered, NICEIC approved eletricians. We handle all aspects of electrical work, providing high quality, cost effective solutions to both domestic and commercial customers. We have been members of the National Inspection Council for Electrical Installation Contracting for over 30 years now and as such, our work is annually assessed for compliance with the relevant standards. The NICEIC also ensures that we have a sound business structure, our engineers are competent and that our training and technical knowledge is kept up to date.
NICEIC Domestic Installer
In line with Part P of the building regulations we offer the full range of domestic electrical services. Upon completion of any notifiable domestic electrical work you will receive a comprehensive electrical installation certificate along with an insurance backed warranty direct from the NICEIC.
Electrical Installation Condition Report
EICR was formally known as a periodic inspection report and is also sometimes referred to as the Landlord certificate. We will carry out a full assessment of the electrical installation and provide a detailed list of any non-compliances found within the property. This work is normally carried out periodically, every ten years on a domestic building, change of tenancy on rental properties and immediately following a fire or a major refurbishment. The EICR will give you peace of mind that your electrical installation is safe.
Portable Appliance Testing
Portable appliances should be checked for electrical safety every twelve months. This ensures that the appliance will work correctly without causing any danger to the operatives. The nature of a portable appliance introduces potential for damage to the machine, its lead and its plug top. We carry out both visual and functional tests and preventative maintenance as required. We will replace incorrectly sized fuses and repair plug tops etc as part of the testing process. A completion certificate will be issued along with a detailed report of any non-compliant items found.
